i hate negative language in art tutorials. “why you suck”, “why this is WRONG!” clickbait ass titles. exhausting, and phrasing like that at especially a young age did loads of damage to my mentality working with art. idk i don’t have a good way of expressing what i mean and i think most people don’t care, but to me it is one of the most subtly evil things
I love it when my creativity spurs other creativity. literally no better feeling as an artist than when someone looks at something you’ve made and goes “I saw this and liked it so much I could do nothing more with myself than turn it into drive for my own creativity” like that’s really what creativity is huh!! an instrument to further human expression and community and connection
shooting myself in the foot artistically by thinking about how excited I am to draw and geeking out about art, knowing full well no art will get done because I’ve gotten so distracted by my own enthusiasm for art that I forget to sit down and actually draw
